A distinctive handmade Alison Hanvey Studio Pottery stoneware goblet featuring a rich reddish-brown glaze with contrasting cream rim decoration.


The traditional footed chalice form has a tall stem, flared pedestal base and visible horizontal throwing marks across the bowl, highlighting its handmade character. The interior features a smooth pale blue-grey glaze, creating an attractive contrast with the warm exterior.


The underside bears the Alison Hanvey maker's mark, confirming its studio pottery origin. An unusual and attractive example of Northern Irish studio ceramics, ideal for collectors of handmade pottery, artisan tableware and contemporary Irish ceramics.
