£50.00Price
Quantity

A rare early Pyrex clear glass casserole dish with original matching lid, dating from approximately 1919–1924 and produced by Corning Glass Works, USA.

This unusual early example features delicate etched floral and trailing vine decoration across the domed lid, with five-petal flowers, leaves and decorative motifs. The casserole is made from clear heat-resistant borosilicate glass and has compact integrated side handles, while the fitted lid features a low-profile cylindrical glass knob.

Dating from the early years of Pyrex household production, this piece predates the later coloured and patterned Pyrex ranges and represents an interesting example of early American heat-resistant kitchen glassware. The original lid and attractive etched decoration add to its collector appeal.
