Dartington Pottery Jaroslav Hrustalenko Studio Vase – High-Fired Crawling Glaze

£175.00Price
Quantity

An impressive vintage studio pottery vase created by Jaroslav Hrustalenko for Dartington Pottery, featuring an expertly executed layered high-fired crawling glaze with subtle crystalline mottling.

The warm palette of cream, ivory, amber, caramel and rich brown creates an organic leopard or tortoiseshell-style surface, enhanced by dramatic glaze movement and a deep glossy finish.

Wheel-thrown in fine stoneware, the vase displays exceptional glaze control, with flowing vertical bands and controlled glaze runs stopping neatly above the foot ring. The sculptural ovoid form and richly textured surface make it equally suitable as a decorative art object or functional vase.

The piece represents the quality of late twentieth-century British studio ceramics associated with Dartington Pottery, combining innovative glaze experimentation with refined craftsmanship.
