*SOLD* English Oak & EPNS Pedestal Bowl – Victorian / Edwardian Fruit Bowl

£35.00Price

A classic late Victorian to Edwardian English oak pedestal bowl with silver-plated EPNS mounts and an attractive vacant presentation cartouche.

Made from solid oak with a beautifully aged finish, the bowl features a silver-plated rim stamped EPNS (Electro Plated Nickel Silver) and stands on a matching pedestal foot. The untouched presentation shield offers decorative appeal and could historically have been engraved for a special occasion, sporting award or commemorative presentation.

Although many bowls of this style were originally supplied with removable liners, this example is offered without one. It remains an appealing piece of antique English tableware, suitable for use as a decorative fruit bowl, centrepiece, dry storage bowl or period home display item.

The combination of warm oak, aged silver-plated detailing and traditional craftsmanship gives this piece the character associated with Victorian and Edwardian country house interiors.
