Enoch Wedgwood Asiatic Pheasants Green Transferware Gravy Boat – Staffordshire I

£30.00Price
Quantity

A charming vintage British transferware gravy or sauce boat manufactured by Enoch Wedgwood Tunstall Ltd, featuring the well-known “Asiatic Pheasants” pattern.

Dating from approximately the late 1960s to 1970s, this elegant serving piece combines traditional Victorian-inspired decoration with the durability of mid-century ironstone ceramic production. The crisp white ceramic body is decorated with detailed green transfer printing depicting floral arrangements, scrolling foliage and decorative borders.

The underside bears the Enoch Wedgwood Tunstall Ltd backstamp, confirming its manufacture during the company’s later Staffordshire production period. The reference to detergent and acid-resistant colours reflects the hard-wearing finishes developed for everyday household use.
