A charming vintage hand-painted porcelain sugar bowl with its original matching lid, produced by Greiner & Herda of Oberkotzau, Bavaria, Germany.


The piece is decorated with delicate blue cornflowers and green foliage in a traditional floral design, complemented by a blue chequered border around the rim. The lid features a practical spoon notch, elegant knop and original finial, while the gently flared foot adds to its refined European appearance.


The underside bears the Greiner & Herda crowned shield backstamp together with the words "Hand Painted", confirming its Bavarian manufacture.
