*SOLD* Grindley "Petalware" Pastel Green Lidded Serving Bowls

£70.00Price

An attractive matching pair of Grindley Petalware lidded serving bowls finished in the classic pale pastel green glaze that became synonymous with British utility ceramics of the 1940s.

Each bowl features the elegant scalloped "petal" rim and matching domed lid with pointed finial, combining practicality with the clean, modern styling of the period.

Produced by Grindley in Staffordshire during the post-war years, the Petalware range was designed for everyday dining while retaining a refined decorative appeal.

Today these pastel-glazed wares are highly sought after by collectors of vintage kitchenalia, farmhouse interiors, and mid-century English pottery.

Offered as a matching pair, these bowls display beautifully together and would make an attractive addition to any collection of British domestic ceramics.
