Hand-Blown Central European Art Glass Vase – Green & Amber Swirl Decoration
A striking vintage hand-blown art glass vase dating from the late twentieth century, probably produced in Central Europe.
The vase features an elegant baluster shape with a flared rim, rounded shoulder and faceted lower body, decorated with flowing dark green spiral bands suspended within pale yellow-green glass.
The handmade nature of the vase is evident in its subtle variations and original manufacturing characteristics, including a small matte area beneath the rim where the casing glass is thinner. These features add individuality and are typical of hand-finished decorative art glass from the period.
Ideal as a display piece or decorative vase, it reflects the distinctive style of Central European art glass produced during the 1970s and 1980s.
