Paragon Rockingham Green Teapot – Green & Gold, c.1960s–1970s
A beautiful vintage Paragon "Rockingham Green" fine bone china teapot, made in England and decorated in an ornate Rococo Revival style.
The teapot features a rich green border with elaborate gilt scrollwork and hand-coloured floral decoration. Its moulded form includes decorative pedestal feet, a sculpted acanthus-style handle and a distinctive green floral finial to the original lid.
The underside carries the Paragon Fine Bone China / Made in England backstamp. The teapot remains an attractive example of traditionally styled mid-century English bone china, drawing inspiration from earlier Rococo and Rockingham porcelain.
The original lid is present but has several fine hairline cracks. It remains intact and suitable for display, and this condition issue is reflected in the valuation.
