An impressive 45-piece vintage Spode “The Hunt” or “Herring's Hunt” dinner and tea service, featuring traditional English fox hunting scenes after the celebrated artwork of J.F. Herring Sr.


The service combines richly detailed equestrian hunting scenes with Spode's distinctive hunter-green borders and moulded riding-crop handles. It makes an impressive traditional country-house display and is increasingly difficult to find in such a substantial matching collection.

Condition Report: Overall very good vintage condition. Most pieces are excellent with bright decoration and glossy glaze. One mug has a rim chip, one espresso cup has a foot-rim chip, two pieces have minor enamel loss and the diamond serving dish has a through-body hairline crack with associated staining. All condition issues have been photographed.
