A charming vintage brown glazed stoneware French onion soup crock with its original matching lid and extended side handle, dating from the 1970s–1980s.

Designed for oven-to-table serving, this substantial stoneware pot is ideal for individual portions of French onion soup, baked dishes, casseroles or rustic farmhouse-style meals. The heavy ceramic construction provides excellent heat retention, while the rich brown glaze gives the piece a warm vintage appearance.

The underside features a stamped key-style maker’s mark alongside the number 17, typical of twentieth-century stoneware production, although the exact manufacturer remains unidentified.


A practical and decorative example of vintage kitchenware, equally suited to use or display.
